It’ll soon be 25 years since I came here. Almost 20 years ago I sang the song, “Was My Brother in the Battle,”, one Ken Burns had included in his Civil War series, at the SMA UU Fellowship to mark the aging of my life and to help push me to win self composure. It’s so hard, but it can be done; you can all overcome shyness. After performing that song, it took me another 15 years of purposefully engaging myself with others, but it worked and that’s what counts.   Let me know what you have done or do to overcome shyness.
